Bivacco is on view from 11 May 2019 to 30 September 2019 in the large and magnificent garden on the island of San Servolo / Venezia (Italy). The emergency accommodation, chosen for its emblematic and evocative function, was provided by the famous mountain climber Reinhold Messner. Hannes Egger (*1981 in Bolzano, lives in Merano) is an artist, curator and editor. He studied philosophy at the University of Vienna (A) and at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.
